| I love the canal and Green Way but its
a shame there's not more litter being pick up. Often
the water is full of bottles and theres glass and cans
all over the towpath. This makes cycling risky. |

| I like to come and sit down here for
a bit of peace and quiet. It'd be good if there were
more benches. I also like to bring my grandchildren
down to feed the ducks. I like the duck rafts, otherwise
there's nowhere for the poor things to go. All the sides
around here have been built on - so many new flats.
I used to see herons here but they've gone now because
of all the building work. |

| I really like it down here because you
can just sit with your friends. Sometimes I get scared
because boys come off the estate on mopeds and they
go down the paths fast. They sometimes rob people too
and I never see any police down here ever. I wish it
was a bit greener too, you can walk to the bottom (Ropemakers
Fields) but it's a long way. |

| I come down here to fish. It's changing
now since they built the new Locks. I think the water
is less salty and now there's loads of huge crabs in
there, they grab my line and bite you when you try to
get them off. I used to see two kingfishers over there
but they've gone now beacsue of all the building I think
..it's a shame, they were beautiful. |

| There's been a lot of improvements to
the Limehouse Cut bit and I like the signs - they make
it much better for cyclists. The floating bridge under
the motorway linking to Bow Locks makes it easy for
me to cycle to work. I love the Green Way where you
see falcons. I hope that they don't build on that bit
for the Olympics. I really would like to believe the
Olympics will be positive for this area. |
